As a bridal wear business Turner & Pennell needed a website to show-off a range of stunning dresses in a large format, high definition way, but they needed to ensure a commercial viability to see a significant return on their investment.
When planning a wedding the rise of using social media has been phenomenal, so to meet this challenge head-on we implemented a raft of social media integration enabling brides-to-be to easily share, 'Pin' and 'Like' the dresses they are enamoured with.
We realised that many clients will us their phones and tablets so the site was built with responsive in mind from day one. A custom built CMS was used to enable the client to easily update every area of the website.
We also incorporated a "Look Book" function. This enables users to save dresses and accessories to a list that is then forwarded via a designed HTML email to both the client and Turner and Pennell so they can have all of the items ready to be fitted when the client enters the store.
All of this has had significant impact on their business:
• Visitors are now spending twice the amount of time on the site as they were before the redesign.
• Overall traffic has gone up by 25%
• Page views per session has gone up by over 150%
