Printech Europe Ltd are leading printers and print brokers based in Chelmsford Essex. Established for 20 years they’ve been providing all manner of print services to a huge range of clients.
They came to us for a new website and a revision of their brand identity. Rich designed the original logo over 20 years ago so it was long overdue for some evolution.
Printech have always used magenta in their logo - it’s a strong and powerful colour and is also one quarter of the four inks used to make colour publications. The swirl was also indicative of the way that print inks are mixed - and it also adds a sense of movement and kinetic energy.
The guys at Printech didn’t want to move too far from the original designs, so after much deliberation we made some subtle yet important tweaks to the logo - warming up the magenta a little as well as resetting the type in a different font that reflects a more modern disposition.
Outside of the odd online print sales websites, the majority of printers websites are notoriously bad which considering they work in a visual industry is quite astonishing.
Printech were aware of this and wanted to treat their site properly so we set to work producing a variety of stunning photographic images that really show off the work and the fine intricacies of the complex print work they do. Highlighting the perfect binding, spot UV, metallic and foiling the images really show off the quality of the work they produce.
We also produced some attractive ‘fly-over’ videos that autoplay once the site is loaded and show off the various publications and highlight elements of interest.
