What Instagram insights can teach you

Impressions - These allow you to monitor how many times your account has appeared on someone’s screen, showing you your business’ current online visibility.

Reach - The reach feature allows you to see how many users have been on your business page and looked at your posts.

Followers, likes, comments, saved posts - These are all analysed through the business account and you are able to keep a record of how many interactions you are gaining or losing.

Discovery - This a fantastic tool and helps you analyse where your posts have been discovered, it allows you to see if your existing followers were following you when they first discovered your post(s).

Stories - Stories are a way to show and broadcast your current activities for only 24 hours. These are very popular on Instagram and allow direct interaction for customers. When you have a business account, Instagram lets you see when people viewed your story and then if they visited your business profile after. It also tells you when people skip your story rather than watching it till the end. Insights on stories will help your business develop and grow the content that you add, and to gauge if they are popular or not.

Your customers - Instagram insights tell you the percentage of males and females, the age group and the locations you are reaching regularly.
