We were recently asked to design a website for a Film and TV production company called Deadpan Films - a creative and passionate company with an incredible ability to make award-winning productions.
Deadpan are renowned for their dramatic sports documentaries, particularly getting world exclusives from the likes of Roy Keane and James Cracknell. From drama to comedy, Deadpan have the ability to create high production values and cutting edge filmmaking.
When it came to designing, we didn’t want the site to be overpowering, so we created a clean, fresh space to be able to navigate around the site easily and to really showcase their work. Black and white was used as the default colours to make the information on the website stand out and added a dash of red here and there to create a sense of drama.
It being a film company and all, we created large open spaces for imagery and film clips to be seen. The high definition of the imagery works well with the sharp cut aspects of the site.
As usual the site is responsive so it still keeps wowing the clients even when their surfing the site on a train or in the back of a cab perfect for those Soho Mafia media types.
